despatch No.193 of the 21st.June, I have the honour to state

that in the absence of the Principal Civil Medical Officer

it is not possible to explain the figures to which you refer.

I have however to transmit for your information the enclosed

losure #July, 1900.00

copy of a minute by the Medical Officer of Health, from which

it would appear that Dr.Atkinson has misapplied certain fi-

zures taken from the Annual Report of the Harbour Master.
